Our diaphragm valve is designed to provide excellent flow control and can be used for both open/close duties and sampling in various applications, including biological systems, laboratory engineering, and more. It operates pneumatically via a plastic or stainless steel actuator, providing reliable and efficient performance.

The body of the valve is made from ASTM A351 CF3M (1.4435) as default, AISI 316L Forged Body (1.4435), ASME BPE 316L, or 1.4435-BN2 (316L) Fe<0.5% Forged Body. The seat material for the diaphragm is made from EPDM+PTFE and has the option for a single EPDM, EPDM+PTFE (2-piece), or Viton (FPM) diaphragm. The end connections are butt-welded or sanitary tri-clamp, making it easy to install and use.

The maximum working pressure is normally closed EPDM 87psi (6bar), PTFE 65psi (4.5bar) as default, normally closed EPDM 116psi (8bar), PTFE 87psi (6bar) as an option, and normally open and double action EPDM 116psi (8bar), PTFE 87psi (6bar). The working temperature ranges from -22°F to 302°F/-30 to 150℃ (Depending on Seal Material) (Stainless Actuator) and -22°F to 266°F/-30 to 130℃ (Depending on Seal Material) (Plastic D27Actuator).

The internal finish of the valve is Ra 16 ~ 32µin (0.4 ~ 0.8µm), Ra 25µin as default, while the external finish is Ra 16 ~ 32µin (0.4 ~ 0.8µm), Ra 32µin as default. The pneumatic actuator types are plastic actuator or stainless actuator, and the actuator operation types are normally closed (NC) – air to open and spring to close; normally open (NO) – air to close and spring to open; and air to air (AA) – air to open, air to close. The actuator air pressure is 58 ~ 102psi (4 ~ 7bar).

Our valve also features a unique seal design with no dead angles, an EHEDG certified sealing concept, and a stainless steel bonnet with sanitary internals. It has a sanitary surface finish with Ra < 0.4µm or EP (SF1 and SF4), and a manual handle and pneumatic actuator that are interchangeable. There is also a wide selection of body types to choose from, including U type/T type/Multiport.

All of our valves are 100% hydraulic tested and inspected, and meet the standards of ASME BPE, 3A, DIN, ISO / IDF. We hold certificates for 3A, FDA, and PED 97/23/EC.

Where should steam traps be installed?
Locate the steam trap below the lowest condensate discharge point of the equipment. Never install a rise in the pipe ahead of a steam trap. Check valves should be installed after the steam traps in most applications.
